This is the tour for motorcyclists who love craft brews and great food. California is a leader in the craft brew movement that is taking the United States—and the world—by storm. This brewery tour focuses on Northwestern California, home to some of the most famous craft breweries in America. In addition, this part of California is renowned for its idyllic landscapes, ocean views, farm-to-fork eateries, and stupendous motorcycle roads.

TOUR SCHEDULE

(110 MILES)DAY 1—Marin Headlands

San Francisco – Marin Headlands – Bodega Bay – Santa Rosa

Day 1 starts with a trip over the iconic Golden Gate Bridge and only gets better from there. We will explore the Marin Headlands and its backroads, as well as Point Reyes National Seashore prior to ending our day discussing philosophy and mead with Pliny the Elder in Santa Rosa (or just reminiscing on the fine day’s riding!).

(170 MILES)DAY 2—The Coast

Santa Rosa – Point Arena – Boonville – Fort Bragg

Day 2 The second day of this tour will find us travelling the finest ten-mile-long stretch of road in California as we travel alongside rivers and through vineyards on our way back to the Pacific Coast and north through Point Arena to Fort Bragg.

(340 MILES)DAY 3—Trinity Alps

Fort Bragg – Weaverville – Eureka

Day 3 is an exciting day of exploring the Trinity Alps (an unknown and undiscovered area for most Californians). It’s filled with great roads, lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hidden gems...which is why this is the abode of the legendary Bigfoot. We will overnight back on the Pacific in Eureka with its 8 breweries and many fantastic restaurants.

(300 MILES)DAY 4—Napa Valley

Eureka – Healdsburg – San Francisco

Day 4 Our final day of this tour starts with a choice: Through the town of Ferndale with its fabulous 19th century homes known as Butterfat Palaces and into the little known Lost Coast of California; or exploring the Six Rivers Region with the Avenue of the Giants. Whichever we choose, we will continue south through vineyards and dairy lands of Sonoma and Marin counties back to San Francisco.
