As its name implies, this tour takes us to some of the more magical California locales. Ever hear of the State of Jefferson? We will be touring the heart of it! Starting in San Francisco, you'll ride north, the vast Pacific Ocean to your left. The ride will take you through fishing villages, Native American lands, all the way to the far north of the state. You'll roll through the Cascade mountain range, take in the sights around an active volcano, and maybe if you're lucky, we'll see Bigfoot. Whether you're visiting from outside of the state, or a longtime resident yearning for adventure, the Twisted Coast tour will show you just how diverse the California landscape truly is.

TOUR SCHEDULE

(192 MILES)DAY 1—Coastal Views

San Francisco – Fort Bragg

Day 1 we will have the blue Pacific on our left as we move north past oyster beds, dairy farms and cheesemongers, fishing villages, a Russian sealing fort, and Native American tribal lands.

(338 MILES)DAY 2—Trinity Alps

Fort Bragg – Weaverville – Eureka

Day 2 is a big day of riding passes through the Trinity Alps with its panoramic views, Chinese temples, and gold tailings before we end the day in the fishing/lumber town of Eureka, with its 10 breweries and brewpubs to choose from where we can brag about our day’s ride!

(260 MILES)DAY 3—Cascade Mountains

Eureka – Happy Camp – Etna – McCloud

Day 3 is superb riding through the heart of California’s far northern Cascade Range mountains, the home of Bigfoot...whom we will see.

(350 MILES)DAY 4—Back to The Bay

McCloud – Lassen – San Francisco

Day 4 Our last day is big with beautiful waterfalls, an active volcano and varied landscapes all connected by great roads as we end this trip back in Yerba Buena (original European name for San Francisco).
